NORMA JEAN MERIDIONAL GIVEAWAY CONTEST
RULES OF PARTICIPATION
1. OVERVIEW
“During the recording process, we used
a lot of stuff—strings, picks, cups, forks, blowholes, sticks—you
name it. Usually we would throw these things away (or let them pile up in
our practice space until the next album…), but this time around we got to thinkin’… let’s give ‘em to the
fans! Read below to find out how to win some awesome gear from the
MERIDIONAL recording sessions (yes, we really used this stuff) as well as some
rad new gear from some of our friends. We’re giving away 1 GRAND PRIZE
and 1 FIRST PRIZE per week, good luck!” – Norma Jean
2. WHO IS ELIGIBLE:
All United States residents, with the exception of those residing in Rhode
Island, are eligible to participate in and win this contest.
3. Here’s how to get involved:
- Go to www.normajeannoise.com/contest to
read about that week’s task.
- Complete the task (update your facebook status, send a tweet, etc.)
via the instructions on that page:
o You must complete the weekly task to be
entered to with that particular week’s prize;
o Completing the task once is all that is
necessary to enter for that week’s contest;
o However, completing the task more than once
will increase your chances of winning.
- That’s it!
4. CONTEST ENTRY PERIOD:
· The first week’s giveaway will begin on June
23, 2010 and will run until June 29, 2010.
· The second week’s giveaway will begin on June
30, 2010 and will run until July 6, 2010.
· The third week’s giveaway will begin on July 7,
2010 and will run until July 14, 2010.
5. HOW TO WIN:
Winners will be
chosen at random. Everybody who completes a task will be entered to win THE
GRAND PRIZE and THE FIRST PRIZE for that week.
6. PRIZES:
THE GRAND PRIZE (1 winner per week, chosen at random, will get all this cool stuff!):
· June 23 – used drumsticks in frame with signed copy of album artwork + a new drum kit, cymbals,
hardware, sticks, and a Zoom Q3 video camera.
· June 30 – used bass strings in frame with signed copy of album artwork + a new bass guitar, strings, picks, strap,
a Zoom Q3 video camera and 2 tickets to the 2010 Mayhem Fest date of your choice.
· July 7 – used guitar strings in frame with signed copy of album artwork + a new guitar, amp, wah pedal, strings, picks, strap,
a Zoom Q3 video camera and 2 tickets to the 2010 Mayhem Fest date of your choice.
THE FIRST PRIZE (1 winner per week, chosen at random, will get all this
cool stuff!):
· June 23 – sticks and a Zoom Q3 video
camera.
· June 30 – strings, picks, strap and a Zoom
Q3 video camera.
· July 7 –strings, picks, strap and a Zoom
Q3 video camera.
7. GENERAL CONDITIONS:
Any person who is selected to win a
prize during any week of the contest will be ineligible to win a second prize
during the contest.
Contest winners will be selected at random the day following the end of
that week’s contest.
8. OFFICIAL RULES:
