Hot off a UK tour with Dinosaur Jr, Dead Confederate kick off their co-headline tour with the Meat Puppets. Athens, GA rockers Dead Confederate burst onto the scene with their self-titled EP in late 2007 and an opening spot for R.E.M. at 2008's SXSW. Their 2008 debut full length album, WRECKING BALL, received innumerable raves from tastemakers and press alike, including Rolling Stone's "Bands to Watch" and glowing reviews from NPR, SPIN, New York Times, etc. The band made their US television debut on Late Night with Conan O'Brien with their first single "The Rat." Dead Confederate has toured with Manchester Orchestra, The Whigs, Dinosaur Jr. and Drive-By Truckers to name a few. Dead Confederate continues to tour this Fall (dates below).
