The album, out on October 30th via Artery/Razor & Tie, was produced by Eric Ron (Panic! at the Disco, Saosin) and Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada).

The album is also available for preorder on iTunes, Amazon, and Google Play.

Myka Relocate’s The Young Souls mixes Michael Swank’s electrifying voice and John Ritter’s crushing screams for a wicked sophomore release. The band is currently on tour slaying audiences as support for Escape The Fate. Catch Myka Relocate on the North American tour in support of their upcoming album (tour dates below).

Following a marathon of touring, the group worked with two producers on The Young Souls in early 2015. They cut two songs with Eric Ron (Panic! at the Disco, Saosin) and the remaining ten in Michigan with Joey Sturgis (Asking Alexandria, The Devil Wears Prada). Each experience encouraged their musical expansion.

Myka Relocate has cemented themselves at the forefront of heavy music’s trailblazers. They garnered nods from the likes of Alternative Press and toured alongside everybody from Capture The Crown and For All Those Sleeping to The Word Alive. The title of their new album, The Young Souls, capsulizes their vision, inviting everybody along for the ride.

While on the tour supporting their breakthrough 2013 debut Lies to Light the Way, Myka Relocate spent a significant amount of time really interacting with their fans. As a result, the Houston group—John Ritter [vocals], Michael Swank [vocals], Luke Burleigh [bass], Austin Dore’ [guitar], Josh Peltier [guitar], and Aaron Robertson [drums]—found the core inspiration for album number two.

“I want fans to know a lot of their personality was put into this record,” Ritter leaves off. “They were the muse for it. At the same time, I hope everybody sees Myka Relocate as something deeper. We are all The Young Souls, and we won’t burn out.”
