In 2008 Brian McKnight released his first studio album in over two years. I'LL BE HOME FOR CHRISTMAS. The album is a soulful collection of holiday favorites and three original songs featuring collaborations withJosh Groban and Vince Gill. McKnightâs sons, Brian Jr. and Nikolas, perform with their father on "Let It Snow", a track that proves that the apple does not fall far from the tree.
McKnight is best known for his soulful songs of the 90s. His rich, full voice serenaded listeners earning him a bevy of accolades. Selling over 16 million albums since his self-titled album debut almost twenty years ago he has had nine Top 100 Albums, twelve Hot 100 singles and twelve Top 20 R&B singles, including the #1 smash "Anytime." The singer/songwriter/musician/arranger and producer has also starred on Broadway in "Chicago", currently hosts BET's "Soul Sessions" and can be heard every day on radio station 94.7 The Wave's "The Brian McKnight Morning Show" in the Los Angeles area.
