Brand New is an alternative American rock band from Levittown, New York, formed in 2000. The band currently consists of lead vocalist, guitarist, and lyricist Jesse Lacey; guitarist Vincent Bacardi; bass guitarist Garrett Tierney; rhythm guitarist, keyboardist Derrick Sherman; and drummer Brian Lane. Brand New has toured with many bands including Thrice, Crime In Stereo, Taking Back Sunday, Dashboard Confessional, and mewithoutYou. The band has released three studio albums to date: YOUR FAVORITE WEAPON (2001), DEJA ENTENDU (2003), and THE DEVIL AND GOD ARE RAGING INSIDE ME (2006). Their sophomore album DEJA ENTENDU was released on Triple Crown/Razor and Tie in 2003. DEJA ENTENDU was met with rave reviews from the likes of the New York Times, Spin, Alternative Press, to name a few. In addition to these immense reviews they were also honored with the "Hot Band" in Rolling Stone's "Hot Issue" release. The album debuted at #63 on the top 200 Billboard's chart and went Gold in a matter of months.
