Razor & Tie supplies physical and digital distribution to the Broadway Cast Recording label Ghostlight/Sh-K-Boom, the re-issue label Real Gone Records, and is a partner in the metal label Artery Recordings, a successful joint venture with Artery Management. The company provides distribution and marketing services for artists such as Joan Baez, Suzanne Vega, Corey Smith and The Cowboy Junkies. Owners Cliff Chenfeld and Craig Balsam are also the creators of the hugely successful brand Kidz Bop, which includes the multi-platinum Kidz Bop music series. In addition to artist releases, the label has produced various compilations, greatest hits packages, live DVD specials and soundtracks, including release of the platinum selling soundtrack to the mega-hit film Alvin and The Chipmunks. The company is led by a seasoned and energetic executive team with representatives in New York, Los Angeles and Nashville. RTMP recently celebrated their third #1 Country hit in less than twelve months. Double platinum certified #1 Country hit “God Gave Me You” was performed by Blake Shelton and written by singer/songwriter Dave Barnes.
